KEEN MUSIC

Our music program takes place from 10-11 a.m. on selected Sunday mornings at the Imagination Stage/Bethesda Academy of the Performing Arts in Bethesda, Md. (4908 Auburn Ave.). Unlike other KEEN programs, the music sessions will be taught by professional educator artists who have extensive experience not only in their field of performance, but also in working with persons with disabilities in dance and music. The sessions will create exciting ways for our athletes to express themselves through music and elements of dance. The basic philosophy at Imagination Stage is that there is a dancer somewhere in each of us. Imagination Stage educators seek to nurture and liberate that artistic impulse in any person eager to move to music.

Volunteers should arrive at 9:40 p.m. for a brief orientation.
