Alison Kutler

Alison Kutler serves as Executive Vice President and Deputy Market Leader, Washington, DC, at BCW Global. She is responsible for market growth, talent management, financial performance and other key initiatives. She also advises clients on integrated communications strategies and serves as a member of BCW’s North American Leadership Team. Alison brings with her more than 25 years experience in government and the private sector developing and leading business, regulatory, policy and public affairs strategies.

Prior to joining BCW, Alison was the leader of the Strategic Policy Advisers practice at PwC providing clients with comprehensive strategies to define and execute their government and regulatory affairs plans in this increasingly fragmented and complex policy landscape. Before that Alison was Chief of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission.

Alison previously served as Senior Vice President of Government Relations for the Americas at Visa Inc. In this capacity, Alison led Visa’s government relations efforts with responsibility for developing and managing the company’s legislative and regulatory strategy for the Americas and also supported the business globally. Alison previously held the position of Vice President, External Affairs at Rio Tinto and was a partner in the Public Law and Policy Strategies Group at the international law firm Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP.

Alison also held other senior roles in the U.S. Government as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Export-Import Bank and as Director of the Trade Advocacy Center located within the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce. She previously held positions at the U.S. Department of Commerce, the White House, and has experience in Congress.

Alison received a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors, serves as Vice President of KEEN USA, an innovative nonprofit that provides sports opportunities to children with severe and profound disabilities, serves as a board member of the Washington Nationals Philanthropies, and as an advisory board member at the Junior Tennis Champions Center.
