Christine Fernandez

Christine is a Portfolio Manager at Aperio, a subsidiary of BlackRock, focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) implementation. Based in New York City, she specializes in aligning client portfolios with their values. Prior to joining Aperio, she was a research analyst at Edward Jones and Raymond James with an emphasis on sustainable investing and fixed income investment manager research.
Christine is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Society of New York, and former board member and Women in Investment Management (WIM) committee chair for the CFA Society of St. Louis. She holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential from SASB, FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, and a B.A in Business Management from the University of Miami.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys running, baking, volunteering and spending time outdoors with her husband and son.
